Job Description
Do you have experience of working within payroll but are looking for something a bit different? If so my client an expanding software company is currently seeking a Product Consultant, you will be responsible for visiting clients on site to deliver tailored training on their software. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience of payroll processing from start to finish and be happy to travel with your own transport.
Duties will include;
To become an expert on all the HR and Payroll modules
To be able to train on the entire suite including HR ,Training , Recruitment and Payroll
Provide first and second-line support
Assist in the testing and quality assurance of any new features
Assist in the implementation of from data transfer through to consultancy/training with the customer
Problem solving issues logged by customers and colleagues
Liaise with clients to qualify and document their requirements for new features or enhancements to existing ones
To manage the customers expectations and make key descions when necessary
Assist in the revision of existing documentation to reflect enhancements and new features in future releases of the software
Attend and present at user groups
Attend, demo and liaise with new prospects at HR and Payroll shows
Essential skills and attributes
At least 3 to 5 years experience of payroll processing from start to finish
Up to date knowledge of SSP ,SMP and payroll legislation
Knowledge of BACS payments,Tax,NI,P45's,P46's ,P60's and general ledger
Experience of problem solving/working on a support desk
First class written and spoken communication skills
The willingness and ability to travel within the UK with over night stays - (Clean Driving Licence)
Quick to learn
Confident working alone and building up good relationships with new clients
First class organisational skills
Strong initiative skills, demonstrated in an imaginative approach to creating and delivering training courses, support and new ideas
To be self motivated and capable of working without supervision
